Plano picado indica a posição da câmara num plano mais elevado em relação ao objeto (o que é representado é visto de cima para baixo).
Pode indicar também um movimento ascendente da câmara.
Contra-picado é o inverso do picado, ou seja, a câmara é colocada num ponto mais baixo em relação ao que é filmado.
