surely if you're doing a post-grad course that already means you're specialising. So, couldn't you take out the specialising bit and just put 'This is to certify that X has completed the post-graduate course in computer science'?

  -> Agree with you about 'a nivel de'. The French have a similar complaint about 'au niveau de'.
