I wonder if anyone can tell me what LNA stands for within the below mentioned context.
This is an article on the results of an inspection carried out on a Turbocharger, which was shut down when extreme vibration was noted and upon opening up the stator and armature, it was found that the windings had fused and shorted, as well as their respective soldered connections were found to be very weak etc.
As the system was shut down through an automatic vibrator detecor shut off mechanism, could LNA mean a Low Noise Amplifier or something? It is obviously part and parcel of the Armature.stator and windings?

Nesta mesma vistoria, foi constatado a ocorrência de fragilidade de solda nas conexões das semibobinas uma vez que boa parte delas acabou se soltando com a aplicação de esforço manual para a retirada das bobinas além de diversos fragmentos de material metálico fundido encontrado próximo às extremidades das semibobinas, no LNA. Nos elementos de encaixe da capa de aço que abriga as terminações dos enrolamentos, foram constatados indícios de deformação dos cantos vivos nas regiões de encaixe sem nexo causal entre o dano em questão e o problema nas bobinas.

Asker: Thanks Sheila, yes your link confirms what I had seen, which is, LNA in English does appear to exist as a recognised abbrevation, ie Low Noise Amplifier, however, I am not 100% certain if this is what it refers to in the context of what I translating.
