virador (in this case) rotate Explanation: Take a look at the Wikipedia article and see what you think, on how it defines a turbine. Basically, it rotates: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbine A turbine is a rotary engine that extracts energy from a fluid flow and converts it into useful work. The simplest turbines have one moving part, a rotor assembly, ... I agree, the use of "virador" is particularly ugly. "...as soon as the turbine starts to rotate", for the last part of your sentence. |
