Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / furnace transformers
Portuguese term or phrase: comutador
I am doing a PT/ENG insurance report on damages to a transformer used in the arc furnace smelting procedure etc.

I would appreciate advice from any expert in this field as to the possible difference in using COMUTATOR, SWITCH a/o SWITCHGEAR in this context, or is there very little difference?
Most grateful for any enlightenment on this subject?

Some random context below:

Conheço bem a peça.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Beleza Joao!
