The difference is a little bit more than subtle 14:24 Oct 3, 2014
A cable tray is quite wide, perforated with the cables often running openly along/within it, whereas a raceway would be used in a place where appearance is much more important, such as in an office, with the cables being hidden from view.
I would suggest, therefore, that the answer be chosen based on the environment for cable installation. If it's industrial/factory, for example, it's probably a tray, but if it's a building such as an office/store, it's a raceway. |
