This is from a Technical Report on damage to a transformer, after opening it up. In this context not sure what they mean by blindagem, initially I was simply going to call it, outer casing or tank, but in further research I see they sometimes use the expression barramentos blindados (bus-way), grateful for comments from anyone in the know:


As blindagens se mostraram sem indícios de irregularidades e não foi observada a existência de vestígios de migração de óleo do cilindro da chave de carga do comutador, no retentor inferior, para o volume de óleo próprio da parte ativa.
