Container/Tank/Reservoir

Explanation:
Cuba is a very general term. It translates to any type of reservoir either in an industry or as a part of an specific equipment. I sent a link regarding a dielectric strength test equipment where they use the word Cuba as a part of the equiment.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks Pedro! You are exactly correct, as it turned out, if I had proceeded with the translation a bit more before going off half-cock, THE MEANING WOULD HAVE BECOME OBVIOUS, IT WAS A TANK (OR BATH) USED FOR ELECTROLYSIS - Anyway thks your follow up!! I would hv given you the pionts if I had not closed the request before Andrew
