Discordo um pouco...
Se, num texto inglês, V. quiser mencionar o Banco do Japão, como é que diz: 日本銀行 ou Bank of Japan?
E se quiser referir o Banco Nacional da Polónia? Escreve Narodowy Bank Polski ou National Bank of Poland?
Defendo que num texto em inglês se escreva Bank of Portugal, com a abreviatura "oficial" e o nome português em extenso, e entre parênteses).
