Portuguese term or phrase: Frango ao molho pardo
I am seeing online two phrases used to describe this Brazilian dish in English:
- Chicken Blood
- Chicken in Blood Sauce

I'm translating Brazilian tourism points, and the restaurant that serves the said dish is Restaurante Maria das Tranças. I've never eaten blood as food, so I'm not sure if is any difference between the two aforementioned names. Any thoughts?

English translation:Chicken in blood sauce
Explanation:
"Chicken blood" would be just that, the blood of chicken. However, "frango ao molho pardo", as you can see from the recipe below, is chicken in a blood sauce - see ingredient "Sangue preparado para molho pardo (com vinagre)".

agree  Mario Freitas: I saw a recipe with "chicken in blood gravy", but I don't think it's the same. I guess nobody eats chicken blood in English-speaking countries

-> Ah! I would worry about NOT mentioning it's blood-based on a menu - a mislead client could potentially sue you!
