I only suggested rescission because you posted another question with "rescisão". If the original has "rescisão", "resolução" and "denúncia", are you going to use "termination" for all of them?

disagree  Daniel McAfee: experation. In the USA a persons Insurance expires, terminates or is revocked. I was not trying to be rude. If I were translating this I would not use rescission. Typing on my phone, so I'm prone to fat finger errors, no spelling assistance required.

There is a difference between 'resolving' and 'denouncing' a contract.

BTW, in international law, Treaties can be 'denounced'.

Also, UK lawyers who claim contracts cannot be 'cancelled' should read and revise carefully, without falling asleep, the UK Consumer Credit Act 1974
