"Se o segurado e o terceiro prejudicado forem pessoas jurídicas, não caberá qualquer indenização por este seguro se, entre os mesmos, existir participação acionária ou por cotas, até ao nível de pessoas físicas, que, isoladamente ou em conjunto, exerçam ou possam exercer o controle comum das duas empresas."

This is under Excluded Risks section of an insurance policy. I just find my translation wordy, and trying to find a way to simplify it (without using "if" twice). Here goes my try:

"In the event that the insured and the third-party harmed are legal entities, no such indemnity may be made under this insurance if there is stock equity or shares between them, at the level of natural persons, which, either separately or jointly, exercise or may exercise ordinary control of both companies."
