Portuguese term or phrase: clip
European Portuguese, from a promotional text for a classified ad website:

"Crie um clip e insira-o no seu web site"

Sorry... no further context. The text talks a lot about linking your website to the classfied ad website.

Can anyone familiar with IT/Internet terminology in Portugal point me in the right direction on what "clip" means, and/or how to translate it into U.S. English?

Thanks in advance...

clip
Explanation:
Where do you suppose the Portuguese found this word? - in English, of course...

Probably a 'video clip' - could be a 'sound clip' - no way of telling without the non-existent context.
