Yes, it can mean 'unique'. But I would translate it as 'individual password' because that is the usal way of refering to unique user passwords. In fact you can just say 'their own password' because that is understood to mean a password that is only known to that user (and not shared with other users as sometimes is the case).

'All users are authorized to use the computer, i.e., each has his or her own (individual) password.'

i.e. = isto é (latin and commonly used in UK)
'has' instead of 'possesses' because that is just not the way people say it...
