3. "Termination" occurs when either party pursuant to a power created by agreement or law puts an end to the contract otherwise than for its breach. On "termination" all obligations which are still executory on both sides are discharged but any right based on prior breach or performance survives.

Rescission of contract. To abrogate, annul, avoid or cancel a contract; particularly, nullifying a contract by the act of a party. The right of rescission is the right to cancel (rescind) a contract upon the occurrence of certain kinds of default by the other contracting party. To declare a contract void in its inception and to put an end to it as though it never was. (...) A rescission amounts to the unmaking of a contract, or an undoing of it from the beginning and not merely a termination and and it may be effected by mutual agreement of parties, or by one of the parties declaring rescission of contract without consent of other if a legally sufficient ground therefor exists, or by applying to courts for a decree of rescission.
2. Your example sentences
(i) refers to rescission of a specific provision of articles of association, not to the rescission of the entire articles.
(ii) does not refer to recission.
3. In the case in the question, the effect of the termination of the articles of incorporation is not the dissolution of the incorporated partnership ab initio.

I find your arguments unconvincing. There are plenty of examples of "rescind" and "revoke" in reference to articles of incorporation. It seems to me you are trying to change the usage of the language. Moreover, my dictionary references corroborate my point of view. We reached a similar impasse in another question, when you tried to prove that "end of transcription" was better than "end of record"(even though I provided good examples there too, with references). I don't think these discussions are very productive, when someone tries to convince others that a synonym is not a synonym. I provided good references for my answers (in both cases). It's up to the Asker whether to accept it or not. Enough said.

Rescission is a response to default by another party and has the effect of rendering the contract void ab initio. The case in this question involves a unanimous decision of the partners to dissolve the incorporated partnership. There is therefore no default and the dissolution obviously cannot be backdated.

A sociedade em nome coletivo é um tipo societário onde todos os sócios são solidários e todos respondem ilimitadamente pelas dívidas da sociedade, ou seja, a dívida da sociedade pode atingir os bens dos sócios.
