Medical - Medical (general) / Discharge report
Portuguese term or phrase: AC
These are discharge notes for a lady with a benign breast lump. Report starts with diagnoses, then RESUMO DO INTERNAMENTO.
AP - recent medical history, AF - family history, "AC - nega". I know AC isusually cardiac asucultation, but that doesn't fit here. Also in this type of context some reference to allergies is common, particular as it states "nega" or "none". Has anybody come across this in this context please? Other notes refer to menarche and mammograms before moving on to details of tests.

Antecedentes Cirúrgicos / Surgeries
Explanation:
A abreviatura médica AC pode ter vários significados: ante cibum (antes das refeições), acrómio clavicular, auscultação cardíaca ou antecedentes cirúrgicos. Neste caso o último parece ser o que faz sentido na frase.

acromioclavicular or antecubital

Explanation:
Hi Heather, according to your text looks negative for acromioclavicular or antecubital. I have not come across a specific text, but I talked to a doctor friend and this does not look like antecedentes cirurgicos, at least looking at the original English text. Can you please provide us the whole picture? does this make sense to you and your text? please let me know if you have further questions.
