one-sided stratified log-rank test at a type I error rate of i = 0.025 Explanation: As used in the following document: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/nda/2010/2015... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 32 mins (2017-04-19 19:44:18 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I think this i can be an error as well; have you looked at the rest of the document? Also, I believe one-sided modifies the test. At least this is the way see it written most often in the protocols I translate from English into Portuguese. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 33 mins (2017-04-19 19:45:00 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- One-sided vs. two-sided tests: http://onbiostatistics.blogspot.com.br/2016/03/one-sided-ver... |

stratified log-rank test with one-sided type-I error rate i = 0.025 Explanation: "One-sided" refers to the statistic's distribution. Every statistical test is associated with a distribution that is used to calculate significance and error. As this sentence focuses on the error rate, I would write "stratified log-rank test with one-sided type-I error rate i = 0.025" The "i" is NOT a p-value. You cannot calculate a p-value without actual data, which you don't have at this point. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Log-rank_test |
