Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / clinical study
Portuguese term or phrase: parasitando / hemácias parasitadas por animal.
Text:

"Valiação da eficácia terapêutica dos produtos contendo os ativos Enrofloxacino e Oxitetraciclina contra Anaplasma marginale parasitando bovinos experimentalmente infectados"

I know that "parasitically invading" is a possibility, but wondering if there is a more medical-speak term for this.

Then throughout the study there is also "parasitadas", such as:

"hemácias parasitadas por animal" (standalone in a statistical table)

For which my thought has been to use similarly "parasitically invaded erythrocytes per animal"

infecting / parasite-infected erythrocytes per animal

Explanation:
First part:
The general term «infecting» can be applied, as it is implied that the discussion is about a parasite infection; «parasite» can indeed be a verb, but it does not sound very fluent.

Second part:
I always prefer «erythrocytes» for formal texts (rather than «red blood cells»); again, I would prefer not to use «parasite» as a verb; this sentence structure seems more fluent.
