Portuguese term or phrase: plange
I thought this was a typo until I found it in several other places in similar contexts. Here's the full phrase:

Explanation:
In portuguese it's also known as "émbolo de borracha", but in general terms is what in english is known as a "plunger". In fact, i think the term in portuguese may have derived from plunger

Daniel. Of course I read the sentence and that's why I think it's plunger. If it would be related to "planning" it would say "segundo o plano" and woulnd mean "according to the plan". I found it would very rare typing error "plange" instead of "plano" and I looker forward for other meanings as the one I found.

Asker: Dude...did you even read the full sentence? It's definitely not plunger.

Asker: Carlos meu amigo, plunger makes no sense whatsoever in this context. Trust me, they don't use plungers while dismantling the working face of a gold mine! Thanks for your input anyways!
