routes Explanation: Oxford Dic: a way or course taken in getting from a starting point to a destination In this case it's talking about the route the air takes when it goes through these 'vias' -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 17 mins (2011-01-31 17:55:24 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- oh, it makes more sense now! thanks |

passageways Explanation: This term covers the wide variety suggested by "outras vias". Since they are all to be kept in good order and unobstructed, it obviously doesn´t refer to cracks in the rock or other such tiny passages.
