Portuguese term or phrase: LAVRA
This is taken from a cost estimate for improving and increasing a Bauxite Mine in Brazil.
Can someone explain the meaning of this word to me please within the below context?
I understand that it can mean cultivation, mining or production?
Mining in this instance does not appear to make sense as the previous sub heading was 'MINA', IE mine?
Can it mean Mining Infrastructure or something?

discovery and exploration (in mining: Prospecting and exploration)

Various techniques are used in the search for a mineral deposit, an activity called prospecting. Once a discovery has been made, the property containing a deposit, called the prospect, is explored to determine some of the more important characteristics of the deposit. Among these are its size, shape, orientation in space, and location with respect to the surface, as well as the mineral quality.

Notes to answerer
Asker: As I mentioned, this would appear to be the logical option but the previous sub heading was entitled 'MINA', which to me would be Mine or Mining, so does not make sense to have the following sub heading also entitled 'MINING' also? Maybe Marila is closer with her idea of 'SITE'?
