Do not dismiss me Explanation: I am not sure of the context, but the phrase seems to mean something like 'please do not simply dismiss me as if I was crazy. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 19 mins (2008-02-01 11:57:38 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- In the Dicionário da Porto Editora, 'correr com alguém' is translated as 'to turn someone out'. So, 'do not turn me out', 'do not chase me out' or 'do not dismiss me' (as if I was crazy). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 23 mins (2008-02-01 12:01:48 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Perhaps 'don't throw me out' fits better.. since 'correr com' is also used metaphorically. |

and don't kick me out straight away Explanation: Parece-me mais coloquial, em consonância com o estilo da frase. |
