I have no idea why, but the word "remissa" has been used meaning "remessa" in this PDF which seems to be the document you're working on or at least parts from it.

Please take a look at page 45:

the term remissa refers to a kind of loom, or more specifically to a heddle (the part of the loom that hold the warp threads of the fabric) see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heddle. It depends how specific you want to be... google loom parts for further descriptions. I would though possible use the more general "loom". Hope this helps a little :)
