Portuguese term or phrase: as últimas como estas a serem feitas
Hi everyone! I'm translating an article describing a neglected vineyard being taken into new hands. I think I know what this means but I'm tripping up over it in my translation - can anyone make it sound natural in English? Thanks for your help!

agree  Danik 2014: My suggestion would be: "the last ones of this kind were made in Alentejo in/during the 1940s".

-> I'm not sure that's the same: your sentence implies that all of the last "talhas" (of this kind) were made in Alentejo in the 40s, while mine implies that only the last "talhas" made *in* Alentejo were made in the 40s - maybe other places kept making them

agree  Mario Freitas: Right, Dani, but in the sequence, it says "to be made in the Alentejo", so the other part is also required. That's it, Lígia/Andrew. Repetitive or not, that's it, IMO.

-> Thanks, Mario! To me, the sentence sounds something like this: "...and, as far as we know it, the last ones of this kind that were made in Alentejo were made in the 1940s..." (as repetitive as the originial). What do you think?
