Iniciada a construção em 1698 em resultado de um milagre ocorrido numa pequena capela que se encontra ao lado, o santuário de Santo Cristo foi concluído na 1ª metade do século XVIII. De características arcaizantes em pleno barroco, é um templo grandioso com fachada flanqueada por duas torres, abóbada de cruzaria no interior e sacristia revestida de pinturas setecentistas. Possui retábulos de preciosa talha barroca.
