Je fais fausse route si vous vouliez simplement savoir si l'on utilise le singulier ou le pluriel j'obterais pour le singulier.

disagree  Leonardo MILANI: Hum, même polémique sur "État de Pernambouc" (au lieu de Pernambuco). Or, faudrait-il dire Port Joyeux, Rivière de Janvier, Sauveur ? Pour le même motif, je suis contre la traduction par "réaux". En FR, vous dites "un Real", ou "un Royal" ? (ou "Réel"?!?)

  -> Les noms propres sont une autre histoire ... J'indiquais mon étonnement Leonardo et précisais que j'obterais pour le singulier (Real donc) si on conservait la monnaie dans sa langue d'origine.

Não dizemos cêntimos, no Brasil, mas centavos.
Também não dizemos cinco centavos de real, mas simplesmente "cinco centavos", já que se sabe de que moeda, no caso o real, estamos falando.
Em cheques, preenchemos por ex: R$19,05 = dezenove reais e cinco centavos.
