În anii 1802-1804 au fost descoperite întâmplător în mai multe rânduri tezaure monetare de aur de tip Kosoni și Lisimachi, cca. 3000-4000 piese, descoperite de către iobagii români X din X, preotul X din X precum și niște cărbunari din satul X. Acestea au ajuns în posesia Tezaurariatului Transilvaniei fiind topite în monetăriile imperiale.
