neutral  Annamaria Amik: De acord cu liturgical science (poate Liturgics ar fi mai potrivit?), dar nu cu Canon. Vezi referinţa, tipicul cuprinde regulile privind liturghia, canon e altceva, reglementează toate aspectele vieţii creştine.

disagree  Lara Barnett: "canon science" is grammatically incorrect (i.e. "science" must be qualified with an adjective, not a noun). "Canon science" would also have no meaning at all anyway in terms of current English usage/ But canon on its own sounds odd anyway.

Adica randuieli, forme si formule verbale fixe si stabile, consfintite de Biserica, dupa care se savarseste cultul divin public." Canoanele sunt cu totul altceva

Canon înseamnă altceva: canon law, care se referă la toate toate regulile care guvernează viaţa în biserica ortodoxă, sau canon, imnul structurat format din cântări (nouă).
