Domnitorul Alexandru Ghica urmărea cu interes modul în care erau îndeplinite de către Mitropolie obligaţiile prevăzute în actul domnesc din 21 aprilie 1834, care menţiona înfiinţarea de seminarii la Bucureşti, Buzău, Râmnicu Vâlcea şi Curtea de Argeş.

În data de 16 noiembrie 1834, Marele Logofăt al Treburilor bisericeşti depune Adunării obşteşti raportul său, împreună cu *** Ofisul Domnului***, spre a fi cercetat şi avizat.

agree  adami: Princely decree (Wallachia was a Principality/voivodeship).//Does not apply in the historical context. In that age and context, ”Imperial” would have referred to one thing only, the Austro-Hungarian Empire (which Wallachia was not part of).
