"This bill eliminates the duty of a town clerk to make a notation in the land records in connection with various documents recorded in the town's land records, including liens, mortgages, and certain condominium related documents. Instead, it requires that a discharge of lien or other document be recorded on the town's land records (see BACKGROUND).
