not relevant/with no impact (effect) on Explanation: Textul românesc este pretențios formulat, este vorba de faptul că momentul la care reclamanta a devenit acționar nu este relevant, nu are nicio incidență asupra aspectului menționat (legitimare a calității active). |

neimpieta (neimpietand) notwithstanding Explanation: The passage says niempietand, not niempieta. The original sentence is straightforward because the subject is legea, not momentul. The equivalent EN word for niempietand is "notwithstanding." The sentence says the 31/1990 law allegedly confers legitimacy, etc., notwithstanding (regardless of, despite) the question of when shareholder status was achieved. Thus the statement is simply "legea confera neimpietand momentul," with legea as subject and confera as active verb - not "momentul nu este relevant, nu are incidență" with momentul as subject and nu este as verb. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2017-06-05 21:04:19 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I.e., in the original, I think "neimpietand acestui aspect momentul [etc.]" is an adverbial phrase modifying the verb confera, yes? |
