Laveen is not a common Romanian name.

Explanation:
Are you sure it's Laveen and not Lavinia?
Lavinia is a name of Latin origin. Some say it means 'purity'.

agree  Réka Kovács: Linguistically Lavinia can change into Laveen because the first "i" is pronounced the same /i:/ and the vowels in the end of the word can change into a single vowel or disapear entirely. So it is possible for both to have the same Latin origin.
