Bull selection and pairing Explanation: I don't think there is an exact translation of "закрепление" in the cattle breeding context. The word itself is rather vague; I couldn't find an exact definition. Depending on context, it could be translated as linebreeding, mating, pairing, selection, fixation of traits, etc. Is this a title or heading in the presentation? If so, I'd call it something like "Bull selection and pairing" (or just "Bull selection"). That's what most articles mentioning "закрепление быков" talk about, anyway. |
