Russian term or phrase: за установленную мощность
Hello,
I have already asked about установленная мощность (installed/rated power). Now I am confused about its meaning in this context: energy bills, 2-rate tariff
двухставочный тариф:
за потребленную энергию: XXX
за установленную мощность: XXX

I don't understand what is being charged for. What is the difference between the two here?

for installed power
Explanation:
installed - this means average power designed for the particular installation to be consumed for a specified calendar period, that is the difference that devides it from "rated" (номинальная in Russian)

потребленную - actually consumed for the specified calendar period

Sorry, "consumed power" or ""energy consumption" - "потребленная энергия" или "энергопотребление"
But you asked about "за установленную мощность"
