Russian term or phrase: работа по распределению
Подскажите, пожалуйста, как перевести работа по распределению? Т.е. определенный период, который выпускник ВУЗа должен отработать на предприятии, на который его распределили при получении диплома (так было в СССР), или на предприятии, которое оплатило его учебу.

После окончания работы по распределению я переехал с семьей в Минск.

Позволю себе не согласиться с уважаемым sidewinder и не менее уважаемыми коллегами.

Во первых, “post-graduate” не имеет однозначного перевода, да и в разных странах может имееть отличающиеся по смыслу значения.

Во-вторых, "work assignment" - не значит обязательное... и не передает периода времени после окончания ВУЗа.

Если не принимать во внимание подстрочник Job by distribution из Wiki, то вполне адекватным термином, передающим нюансы, явл. именно “ first-job mandatory placement”.
