Hey guys, thanks for replies, sometime in the morning i got 'the cash flow to the equity'. I originally had it literally as in 'on' . If i look at the current discussion, i get goosebumps on the back of my head. The whole thing was illustrated with the following formula

In strict accounting terms we should probably have a look at the text as a whole before we pass judgment on what the situation has or doesn't have to do with. I believe there's a Russian dictum that applies here: "За что купил, за то и продаю".

In strict accounting terms, your situation here has nothing to do with cash flows, free or otherwise. ROI may be positive with negative cash flows (here's where the quality of earnings concerns come in).
