Russian term or phrase: Интервальный паевой инвестиционный фонд акций
Two investment groups include "Интервальный" (the problem word) as part of their titles; there is no other context.

It is in a proof/editing job, and the original translation was "interval unit investment fund", which means nothing at all to me. Does anyone know of any equivalent in the English-speaking world?

agree  Mikhail Mezhiritsky: Not sure about the "systematic payout" part, but the rest seems to be it: интервальный = unit trust, i.e. securities that have a pre-determined trading period, not less than once per year. See - http://tinyurl.com/3bf6pj and http://tinyurl.com/yog9ek

neutral  Michael Tovbin: This is what I would call "English for the lazy". Someone in Russia translated it this way because they did not know any better. A Russian web site is a poor source for English. Take a look and see whether you like the grammar and usage at that web site.
