notice period Explanation: That is, the time between the notice (whether by the employer or the employee) and the termination of actual employment. All other answers aren't wrong, but this is the usual way to express it in English. |

Reference: serving out / base service Reference information: Не уверен, если правильно понял контекст, то мой вариант serving out - If someone serves out their term of office, contract, or prison sentence, they do not leave before the end of the agreed period of time. https://www.multitran.ru/c/m.exe?l1=1&l2=2&s=serve%20out |

Reference: serve [out] Reference information: Native US EN speaker. I understand the conversation but cannot think of a good EN word for отработка. I would just say "work through the end of the month," and the fixed one month term is implied. Technically UK EN "serve time" or US EN "serve out time" is close, but I don't like it because,in US it normally refers to prisoners. https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/serve_one%27s_time |
