Russian term or phrase: практической психологии
When it is stated in the context of a person's job title as part of a speech, is it better to translate практической психологии literally to Practical Psychology, or is it best to translate it into the more commonly used English term Applied Psychology?

I am a relatively new translator, and would appreciate any guidance regarding client expectations here.
I.e., are clients more concerned that the actual true job title in Russian is "honored", or are they rather more concerned about the natural flow in English?

Thank you
