It's more usual to say 'lender' than creditor, especially for retail customers. Rather than saying 'mortgaged in favor of' etc. it's more natural to say 'pledged to' etc.

agree  The Misha: As an American, I am not too big on "pledging," but it works here, I guess. The bigger problem is that this is a formulation you'd never come across in an original English doc on the issue. Some things are just said differently in different languages.
