Explanation: I would try to escape from a literal translation of the Russian expression about being permitted to think this or that, and write it something like this: "From the type of information the Scopus system provides on scientific journals, it appears to make primary use of the SJR criteria (for evaluating journals)." Variable: I suppose possibly "вид" could indicate "From the form in which the Scopus system provides ..." - maybe the context helps indicate which it is?
