disagree  Kiwiland Bear: I don't agree there is any opposing X and Y here which is implicit in "rather". Your own example says it's not X. Original however says it is X. The Y option is a stronger, more restricted subset of X.

neutral  Kiwiland Bear: I think it's "more" not "most" often/frequently. Otherwise, how would you translate "чаще всего"?
