Last time I entered this question, it somehow came out in "Central European Windows" encoding, so no-one could read it and I have not had any replies to it apart from being told it was illegible. OK, here goes for the second time.
This is from an estimate for work on a ship's diesel generator. The entry is
"Модернизация тр-да СИГ" in which I think "тр-да" is "трубопровода".
I had this before in a ship's log from which I was only doing excerpts and it was in part of the log which was not required. The hand-written log entry read: "Давление СИГа в норме".

Система инертных газов (СИГ) - это система, состоящая из оборудования и трубопроводов, предназначенных для охлаждения, очистки и подачи инертных газов в грузовые и отстойные танки для создания в них инертной атмосферы с целью предотвращения образования взрывоопасной среды в танках.

As you can see from above it is referred to in both pipelines and pressure (трубопроводы и давление СИГ).

Thank you very much for your most informative answer. The ship of the log extract was an oil tanker, not sure about the other one, but I suppose an IGS can be used for the fuel tanks of any ship.
