steer the ship into the wave Explanation: To avoid being capsized by being struck from the side -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 27 mins (2009-11-16 17:08:38 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- OK, not "steer" but apparently a ship's captain has some way of "pointing" the ship at the wave even if the steering is damaged (but perhaps not entirely unresponsive) or this advice wouldn't be in the instructions |
