English translation:ship train
Explanation:
I agree train ship makes no sense and I have not been able to find any reference to a ship train. But it is easy to impagine an engine designed to haul ships up a slipway.actually, if you go to http://www.sudohodstvo.com/11_98/page_050_11_98.html you will see a photo of one.
from the picture I would suggest "gantry".

The URL was very good and useful for Russian, but there was no URL or a reliable dictionary/encyclopaedia reference for English.

Many thanks

boat train

Explanation:
I have seen "boat train" used in British stories, where I think that it means a train that takes you to a port on the English Channel, scheduled to match a boat to take you to France. Whether this matches your context I don't know.

trolleys and girders

Explanation:
Since судопоезд seems to have no immediate word-for-word English counterpart, we may consider a Russian description of the subject in question given in Sudokhodstvo Magazine, No. 11, Nov. 1998 (http://www.sudohodstvo.com/11_98/page_050_11_98_98.html).

“The system … consists of 42 idle berth trolleys with 200 t lifting capacity, 30 longitudinal girders of the longitudinal travel “sudopoyezd”, 5 cross girders of the transverse travel “sudopoyezd”, 132 docking blocks, a set of rods, cribbings, stands, wedge supports… The system is powered by a hydraulic drive.”
