Russian term or phrase: вахтовые перевозки
Необходимость совершить перелет, которого не существует в расписании авиакомпаний, возникает не так редко.VIP- перелеты, вахтовые перевозки по нестандартным маршрутам или вне существующего графика, инкассация крупных сумм денег - это лишь не полный перечень ситуаций, в которых необходима аренда самолета.

Просто "charter flights"? или я упустила что-то из виду?

shift transportation

Explanation:
I'm not entirely sure of how good that translation is, but I used to be involved in the very thing. I worked 28 days on/28 days off at an oil field. The 28 days on was my вахта. It clearly comes from the German, but вахта means "shift", in this case.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Perhaps we need a whole explanatory phrase? As per my note to Yerbol below....

Asker: Thanks for your help (and for having actual expertise in this!)

agree  Maria Rakovskaya: Несомненно, что это тоже чартерные рейсы, но в переводе для разграничения я бы использовала этот вариант

charter flight

Explanation:
Да, полагаю, что это именно чартерные рейсы, ведь они всегда не по обычному графику летают, а только в сезон большой нагрузки и т.д.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Both yours and Blair's are more precise translations than "charter flight," but I'm not sure that if I were reading this in English I would understand what "rotational travel" or "shift transportation" meant. Maybe I need an explanatory phrase here, like "arranging transportation for your company's shift workers"? Or can I squeeze the word "rotational" in there somewhere?

Asker: Спасибо за помощь!
