14.8.99 An-26 71385 Surčin sletanje bez izvučenog ST August 14th, 1999. An-26 71385 Airport of Surčin landing without LG extended Explanation: No sadness at all, dear Sir ... sometimes it happens you can discover an ATP license in a translator's home :-). You're right ... An-26 is a twin prop aircraft, in the category of Dash-7 or similar , and Surčin is a name of the village where the international Airport of Belgrade was built. ST = abbr. for STAJNI TRAP = LANDING GEAR accordingly LG would be "landing gear" I've translated this WYSIWG ... and presumably you can use : "Surčin belly landing" And that's it. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 30 mins (2004-04-22 21:49:55 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- i.e. SURČIN AIRPORT BELLY LANDING |
