Historically, rangeland has been defined as land where the potential natural vegetation is predominantly grasses, grasslike plants, forbs or shrubs and is capable of being grazed. Management practices may include brush control, regulation of grazing intensity and season of use. If revegetated to improve the forage cover, it is managed like native vegetation.
Generally, this land is not fertilized, cultivated or irrigated.

I don't think that "turf" matches the Matica srpska definition. Turf is often grown as a crop and sold rolled for lawns and playing fields etc. It also describes the grass in those places. See this reference, for example.

Rečnik Matice srpske ovako definiše utrinu: a) zemljište namenjeno za ispašu stoke; zapušteno, neobrađeno zemljište; b) trava koja raste na takvom zemljištu.
Poljoprivredni rečnik (Lj. Veličkov):utrina – turf.

Važno mi je da razumem šta je utrina. Da li je to neobrađeno (neobradivo) zemljište ili, kako sledi iz definicije na koju upućuje Aleksandar, obradovo zemljište koje privremeno nije kultivisano?
