Po našem zakonu „notarska taksa“ je neka vrsta javnog prihoda, kao npr. porez, koju javni beležnik (notar) naplaćuje pored svoje redovne nagrade i eventualno naknade troškova:

Јавни бележник је овлашћен да на основу закона, независно од награде и накнаде трошкова, наплати таксу за обављену услугу која представља јавни приход, а чија висина је одређена законом.
