Hi Reuben, my alternative, according to "English for Accountancy" by Luisa Fernanda Lassaque, was "Trade receivables". I did, however, go for your answer for the time being. Your idea seems to somehow reflect more accurately on the original phrase, thank you very much.

I considered 'deudores' as 'debtors' or 'indebted people', while 'bienes a plazo' would be sales (the purchase of assets or items to be repaid in installments) or hire purcahse.
